It is now January 2, 2006 and the BBQ season will be heating up shortly. Does anyone have any suggestions about cook-offs in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and New Mexico they want to share? Which ones are your favorites and why? Please share your thoughts as it will help alot of folks decide which ones to go to and which ones to avoid. Thanks for your input.

The Clifton cookoff is nice because of location. Lot's of tall shade trees.

I didn't notice a Hillsboro cookoff this year. Anybody heard anything?

Looks like it has been deleted from both the Central Texas BBQ site as well as the IBCA websites...and no reason given!
